Punjab Kings’ batting coach Wasim Jaffer recently tweeted on Twitter and praised the franchise’s new jersey in response to Tim Paine. Jaffer responded to the Australian Test captain’s tweet with a funny meme from the iconic comedy film, ‘Hera Pheri’. Pine had responded to a tweet by Damien Wright in which the Punjab Kings bowling coach was seen sporting the team’s new training gear. The Australian Test captain said he loves the “red and black” color on the new training jersey.
Ahead of the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), the Punjab Kings introduced a new name as well as a new jersey and a new jersey.
The KL Rahul-led side has seen mixed reactions from fans and former players regarding the selection of his new jersey. However, this time he got a fan following as Pine, who praised the jersey in his own way.

In his first tweet, Jafar shared the team’s new logo, stating that despite the changes, the old connections would remain intact.
In addition to tickling the funny bone of his Twitter followers, Jaffer cut his task as the team’s batting coach.

The Punjab Kings scored a painful run in the previous edition, again failing to qualify for the playoffs. He won only six of the 14 matches played, scoring just 12 points in the group stage.
Punjab Kings will play their first match against Rajasthan Royals on April 12 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
