Jasprit Bumrah advanced his Yorker game from the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Bumrah’s IPL team Mumbai Indians posted a video on social media in which the fast bowler is seen dodging his yorkers by constantly hitting a marker placed in the length of a ‘block-hole’. “Boom… ED!” Wrote MI as caption for the video. Bumrah is set to return to the IPL after missing the white ball in England’s 2021 tour of India and the final Test of the four-match series. Bumrah recently married TV presenter Sanjana Ganesan.

Bumrah has been one of the key players for MI and part of their IPL winning teams in 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2020.
The right-arm fast bowler has 109 wickets in 92 matches at an economy rate of 7.41 runs per over.
He was one of the MI-standout performers in the 2020 season with an economy rate of 27 wickets and 6.73 runs per over in 15 matches.
MI will begin its title defense with the tournament opener against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in Chennai on 9 April.
RCB suffered a setback before the tournament that their highest scorer of IPL 2020, Devadatta Padikkal, is at his home in Bengaluru on March 22 after testing positive for Kovid-19.
Padakkal is the second player to test positive for the virus after Axar Patel of Delhi Capital.
Promoted
Despite the increasing number of Kovid-19 cases in India and especially in the state of Maharashtra, IPL matches in Mumbai will go ahead as planned, Mumbai Cricket Association secretary Sanjay Naik said.
