David Warner, who often amazes fans with hilarious uploads on social media, has a question here. Sharing a picture of himself with the mask, the Sunrisers Hyderabad captain asked his Insta fame “how is new?” Warner is seen wearing a floppy hat, a pair of sunglasses and a team vest in the photo. Within hours of being posted, Snape, who has received more than 2 lakh hearts, is cheering fans for his favorite cricketer. The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 season starts on 9 April. Warner will lead SRH in the first match of the campaign against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on 11 April.
Warner left for India on 30 March. One of the most active cricketers on social media, the Australian opener then posted a picture with his daughters.
On Tuesday, Warner, in another social media post, revealed the new jersey that SRH will wear in this edition of the IPL.
Not only does Warner want to continue to lead the team successfully – SRH has progressed in all the playoffs in the last five seasons – but he will also try to pursue his successful run with the bat in the tournament.
Warner has scored over 500 runs every season since 2014. Last year, his 548 runs in 16 matches played a key role in getting the injured SRH to the playoffs once again.
With four centuries and 48 half-centuries, Warner is the third and highest run-scorer among overseas players in IPL history.
