The players of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Delhi Capital (DC) interacted with each other before and after their respective practice sessions today. Players including Sam Curran, Tom Curren, Moin Ali, Suresh Raina, Sam Billings and Faf du Plessis were masked and were seen sharing lighthearted moments with each other with the Kovid-19 protocol in place.

Both Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capital together will start the IPL 2021 campaign on 10 April. So far the two teams have faced each other 23 times in the IPL, with CSK winning on 15 occasions.
However, given the results of the previous edition where DC had emerged as the winners both times, CSK would be eager to gain the upper hand this time.
DC will be without its regular captain Shreyas Iyer for the entire tournament. Iyer was ruled out due to a shoulder injury during the first ODI against England last month.
In Iyer’s absence, wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant will captain the Delhi Capitals.
