Virat Kohli supported KL Rahul, who ducked in four balls in the third Twenty20 International (T20I) against England, and did well and said that he along with Rohit Sharma in India’s main batsmen in T20I Will be one of KL Rahul is struggling for runs in the ongoing five-match series between India and England, with 1,0,0 recorded in three matches so far. India lost the match by eight wickets, but in the post-match presentation, Kohli said that Rahul is a champion player and will bounce back.
“He (Rahul) is a champion player and he will continue to be one of our main batsmen along with Rohit,” Kohli told the post-match press conference.
Kohli said the England bowlers were on song and their extra speed made it difficult for the Indian batsmen.
He also said that the intensity was reduced when the hosts came out to defend the 157-run target.
Kohli said, “The England bowlers attacked on the right lines and lengths and became more powerful at their own pace. We lacked intensity in the second half.”

The captain of India said that Hardik Pandya will be given more responsibility with the ball in the coming games as he is going to be important for India in the future.
“We want to give Hardik a little more responsibility with the ball. We know what he can do with the bat,” Kohli said.
After losing the third T20I, India will be looking to quickly turn things around and survive the series when the two teams meet again at the same venue on Thursday.
