India is set to host England for the five-match Twenty20 international series starting on 12 March. All the matches will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. While India has opted to test their bench strength by tapping into new faces for the shortest format of the game, England have called all their white ball specialists for the T20I series. In the T20I format, the two teams have played against each other 14 times, but this will be the first time on Friday when both teams will be seen in action in Ahmedabad in a T20 match. There is hardly anything that separates the two sides as they have won seven matches each.

In the final T20I, India beat England in Bristol thanks to Rohit Sharma’s unbeaten century.
Chasing 199 runs for the victory, India got into the line with eight balls to spare.

Talking about all the T20I action in India between India and England, the two teams have faced each other on six occasions and the guests have been on par with the hosts, with three wins under their belt.
India have momentum since winning the Test series, but England are hoping that a change in personnel and leadership can change things for them as the action turns to white ball cricket.
