In Thiruvallur district, a reminder will be given to vote, even as you withdraw cash from an Indian bank ATM. Collector P. Ponniah on Wednesday inaugurated the voting awareness program through the branches of the bank. Now messages will be printed about the importance of voting on the back of ATM receipts. Thiruvallur district has around 80 Indian bank branches and 84 ATMs, and it will be offered in all of them. The stickers remind people that April 6 is election day and will be pasted at all ATMs. An Thiruvallur collectorate official said, “It will also get stuck on the passbook.”
