Narasimha Rao says that the steel plant has lost only four years of its 30 years of existence.
Chau, chairman of the Visakhapatnam Ukku enclosure committee. Narasimha Rao, Union Minister. Kishan Reddy has condemned the statements that the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP) had been incurring losses for several years and how long it would have to support the taxpayers.
He asked why if the Center can bail out a loss-making Yes Bank, a private firm, why is the same benefit not being given to the VSP. In a statement on Monday, he said that there is no truth in the statements of the Union Minister that the plant had been running at a loss for the past several years.
Shri Narasimha Rao alleged that the Center had allocated closed mines to several private and PSU steel units in the country. However, it has failed to give the same benefit to VSP.
