NEW DELHI: OnePlus fans, here’s some good news for you. There are hints that OnePlus might soon launch a new smartphone. Following its usual tradition, there are chances that the company might launch a OnePlus 9T smartphone this year.
In July this year, some online rumours revealed that OnePlus will not launch the OnePlus 9T this year. However, now it appears that the company has not given up on the plans of launching the OnePlus 9T.

Recently, OnePlus shared a cryptic tweet, which hints that the company is considering launching the OnePlus 9T. OnePlus has tweeted an image of the OnePlus 9 that is placed in tea. Along with the image, the company also shared a caption that reads, “The #OnePlus9 in tea. Don’t read too much into it.”
On the other hand, another tweet from TechDroider also suggests that OnePlus will launch the new flagship smartphone this year. The smartphone comes with model name — OnePlus 9T and has model number MT2110. On the other hand, the popular tipster Max J, said the company will not launch the OnePlus 9T and that the company will launch a new flagship this year.

Apart from this, no other information or detail about the upcoming smartphone is available right now.
Last week, OnePlus started rolling out Android 11 update for its three-year old — OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T smartphones. It is a staged rollout and will be received by a limited number of users and will have a broader rollout in a few days after making sure there are no critical bugs.
OnePlus launched the OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T in 2018 with Android 8.0 Oero operating system out of the box. The smartphones then received Android 9.0 Pie and Android 10 updates. This is the third major software update for both smartphones.
