Grand Theft Auto is known for its quirky gameplay and updates. The game is already popular just because of its open world concept. Taking advantage of that a group of GTA Online players have brought Nintendo’s popular Mario Kart races to the game. Players have used the go-karts, masks and cycles from GTA Online to pull this off.
A Reddit user who goes by iosgamer2day has shared the video of the game showcasing how Mario Kart looks in GTA Online. The Redditor also mentioned that the GTA Online players decided to do this to celebrate the Los Santos Tuner DLC and the new underground location.
The Mario Kart mod is based on the recently launched Los Santos Turners Update which includes a feature called LS Car Meet. This allows players to customise their cars the way they want. It also allows players to buy new cars.
Not only that, the update also brings an underground race track that allows players to race and test their cars in Mario Kart style.
GTA Online is now available across all the platforms including PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One, The PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions are in development.
