Google starts rolling out these three features more widely to Search - Times of India

Internet search giant Google has reportedly started rolling out new features for Search.
According to a report by 9to5Google, Google is in the process of widely rolling out a new Settings button in Search on the web. Besides this, it is also said to be testing a new dark mode toggle. Lastly, Google has also been spotted testing customised backgrounds on mobile devices.
New Settings button
Users should be able to find the new Settings button at the top of the page to the left side of the account switcher option.
The report claims that a new menu appears below the new Google Search Settings icon showing seven new options — Search settings, Languages, Hide explicit results, Advanced search, Search history, Your data in Search and Search help.
While all these are existing options only, Google is only said to be changing its location. Prior to this, these were found at the bottom of search results or under the “Tools” menu.
Toggle for dark mode
The report also adds that the company is rolling out dark mode toggles more widely. The first time a user sees Dark mode, it comes with a message in a box on the search page that reads “Dark theme is now available.”
The company is said to be rolling out the dark mode icon on the left side of the screen, next to the Sign-in option.
Customised backgrounds on mobile devices
Lastly, the company is also said to be rolling out customised backgrounds on mobile devices in Search. The 9to5Google report claims that this feature appears to be an account-based rollout of a test that first appeared last year.
