Gold to 587 to ₹ 45,768 per 10 gram rallying; Silver to 682 to ₹ 65,468 per kg
According to HDFC Securities, the rupee depreciated from ₹ 587 to ₹ 45,768 per 10 grams in the national capital on April 7.
In the previous trade, the precious metal had closed at the 45,181 per 10 grams.
Silver also rose from ₹ 682 to em 65,468 per kg and from 64,786 per kg in previous trade.
The Indian rupee slipped 24 paise to close at 73.66 against the US dollar in opening trade on 7 April.
In the international market, gold was at a low of $ 1,739 an ounce and silver was flat at $ 25.04 an ounce.
“Gold prices traded at COMEX with a slight drop in gold prices [New York-based commodities exchange] According to HDFC Securities, senior analyst (commodities), Tapan Patel, it traded at $ 1,739 an ounce on Wednesday.
