Gold prices fell from 122 to 44,14 per 10 grams; Silver 587 increased to ₹ 65,534 per kg

According to HDFC Securities, gold prices fell from ₹ 122 to ₹ 44,14 per 10 grams in the national capital on March 8, in line with weak international market trends.

The precious metal had closed at 44,236 per 0 grams in the previous trading session.

On the other hand, silver rose from ₹ 587 to 65,534 per kg as compared to the previous close. 64,947 per kg.

HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel said, “Spot prices for 24-carat gold in Delhi plunged Anal 122 with COMEX (New York-based Commodity Exchange) gold prices weakening.” In the international market, gold was trading at $ ,699 an ounce and silver though at $ 25.31 an ounce.
