According to HDFC Securities, gold rose from 182 to ₹ 45,975 per 10 gram in the national capital on Thursday after rising prices of the precious metal.
The metal had closed at 45,793 per 10 grams in previous trade.
Silver was also seen buying and rose from ₹ 725 to buying 66,175 per kg, from previous closing price of ₹ 65,450 per kg.
HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel said, “The 24-carat gold prices in Delhi increased the gold prices at COM 182 (New York-based Commodities Exchange) at COM 182.” In the international market, gold was trading at US $ 1,744 an ounce and silver at $ 25.30 an ounce.
