According to HDFC Securities, gold prices in the national capital on Friday stood at 522 to umb 43,887 per 10 grams in the national capital due to a muted stance.
The precious metal had closed at 44,409 per 10 grams in previous trade.
On Thursday, silver crashed from 8 1,822 to ₹ 64,805 per kg, compared to close to 8 66,627 per kg.
“The spot price for 24-carat gold in Delhi fell to COMEX (New York-based Commodity Exchange) gold prices by 522,” said Tapan Patel, senior analyst (commodities) at HDFC Securities. In the international market, gold was trading at a low of $ 1,696 an ounce and silver was trading at $ 25.20 an ounce.
