Black Friday isn’t here yet, but Virgin Media has already launched an immense deal that bundles a brand-new Samsung Galaxy and a Chromebook laptop for a low monthly price. Right now, the mobile operator is offering shoppers the chance to pick up a Galaxy A12 handset plus a Samsung Chromebook 4 for just £19 a month with no upfront cost. This stellar deal, which runs for 36 months and includes 2GB of monthly data, is cheaper than buying the smartphone and laptop outright, and signing up to a 2GB SIM-Only deal.
Virgin Media charges £8 a month for its SIM-only deal with 2GB of mobile data, while Samsung’s Chromebook 4 and Galaxy A12 cost £299 and £169, respectively. So, if you were to buy the Galaxy A12 and Chromebook outright, and then pay for SIM-only Virgin Media access for 36 months you would be forking out £756 in total.
However, buying the same kit with the pre-Black Friday deal from Virgin Media on a monthly contract comes to £684 at the end of the 36-month plan. That’s a saving of £72. And you don’t need to fork-out £468 in one lump sum on a new handset and laptop, which is handy with the expensive Christmas season right around the corner.
Of course, the Galaxy A12 doesn’t always sell for its full Recommended Retail Price (RRP) of £169, however, while it can be picked up for £139 right now in the run-up to Black Friday – it’s still cheaper to buy monthly with this brilliant deal from Virgin Media.
If you like the sound of this deal, but would rather have more monthly data or have the contract run for 24 months, then you can tweak these things on the Virgin Media website. If you need more monthly data, the Galaxy A12 Chromebook bundle is available with 100GB of data for £24 a month or £29 a month for unlimited data.

Alternatively, Virgin Media is also running Black Friday deals on the 100GB and unlimited data 24 month plans. These A12 and Chromebook bundles are priced at £30 a month and £35 a month respectively.
The Samsung Galaxy A12 handset is available in black or blue colours schemes and comes loaded with 64GB of internal storage to store your photos, videos, games and apps. However, if that’s not quite enough, the Galaxy A12 does include a microSD slot, which can be used to expand the amount of space in your handset up to 1TB.
The Samsung Chromebook 4 is a Chrome OS powered laptop that boasts an 11.6inch HD display and weighs just 1.18kg. If you were hoping to use a Chromebook to work from home you may need to check with your employer whether this range of Google OS laptops are capable of running any software you specifically need to work from home.
If you just need a web browser then you should be fine, but if your workplace uses a bespoke app then that programme may only be available for Microsoft’s Windows software.
