The post-mortem was done and the dead body was handed over to the next of kin. Coming from Rajasthan, the teenager had been living with Phogat since 2016 and was training at a wrestling academy run by Mr. Phogat. “He was determined to win the championship, but a narrow defeat disappointed him.” Her cousin Babita Phogat, a Commonwealth gold medalist wrestler, said in a tweet, “It was a moment of sorrow for the whole family.”
