Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said the national capital will bid to host the Olympics in 2048, adding that a vision has been provided in Delhi’s budget on Tuesday. “The Budget (Delhi Budget) provides an approach that the 2048 Olympic Games should be held in Delhi. Delhi will bid for the 2048 Olympics. We will raise whatever infrastructure and other requirements are required for this.” They said.
Kejriwal said, “Delhi’s Finance Minister Manish Sisodia has made a great budget. This budget was prepared keeping in mind the people of all sections of society.”
Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Tuesday presented a budget of Rs 69,000 crore for the financial year 2021-22 and said that the aim of the Aam Aadmi Party-led government is to increase the national capital’s per capita income by 2047 by 2047.

The Delhi government has allocated Rs 50 crore in this year’s budget to provide free COVID-19 vaccines to the people of the national capital.

Sisodia said, “COVID-19 vaccines will be available for the people of Delhi free of cost in central government hospitals. We have allocated Rs 50 crore in the budget for this. ”
The budget session of Delhi Legislative Assembly is scheduled to run till 16 March.
