Countryside Watson’s lawyer issued a joint statement of 18 women guarding the Houston QB

Attorney Rustin Hardin, who represents Countryside Watson, released a statement Wednesday detailing 18 different massage therapists detailing their experiences with the Houston quarterback and saying This behavior accused him in other lawsuits All is out of character with sharing positive experiences.

The Texas quarterback has been facing nearly two dozen civil lawsuits since 2020 accusing him of inappropriate behavior and sexual assault during a massage given to Watson.

Ben Wolin of the Boston Globe revealed a portion of Hardin’s statement on Twitter on Tuesday:

The statement said, “These women say that they are deeply disturbed by the allegations leveled against Countryman Watson and that these claims are completely inconsistent with their experiences.”

“All of them said that Deshon never made them feel uncomfortable or asked for anything outside the purview of professional massage. None of them had any experience of alleged behavior by the anonymous plaintiff in the many lawsuits filed by Houston lawyers. did not do.”

Earlier in the week, Jenny Vertus of Sports Illustrated outlined “Mary,” a different massage therapist who is not part of Houston attorney Tony Buzbee’s client group, but who has claimed similar examples Inappropriate and sexual conduct during a massage with Watson.

Criminal cases have not been filed against Watson. Houston police also have not found any evidence of sexual assault involving Watson.

In March, the NFL confirmed it was investigating Watson.
