Banathu Raju is a resident of Mogilicheruvu Tanda located in the Toguta mandal. This tanda is about to sink in Mallansagar, whose construction is nearing completion.
Both sides of the road leading to Tanda have already been dug and filled with water.
Last week, residents of this village had frequent visitors – revenue and police, the latter in large numbers. Revenue officials asked him to vacate Tanda, saying that all the money given to him by the government would be handed over to him at the very moment he would be transferred to the Rehabilitation and Rehabilitation (R&R) Colony. Even the officials showed him checks in his name.
The amount of the check surprised and surprised many residents of Tanda.
“Earlier, on June 13, 2019, a check of 10,14,481 was issued to my house. This time it is more than 7 lakhs plus. We were not allowed to take any photograph of the check issued in our name. I do not know the reason for this. How the earth’s rates were reduced in two years, even when government officials set a rate in the previous letter to answer, Mr. Raju said.
He said his check bounced officers into the bank for the best of reasons.
The case of Banothu Lakshmi, Lambdi Bhaskar and many others is no different. Example of FIR Banothu Lakshmi was issued a check for 18,91,777 on 13 June 2019, while Lambadi Bhaskar was given a check of 91 18,91,777 on the same day. However, he did not accept the check stating that the amount given to him was small. When the villagers questioned the authorities, they were informed that they would not receive more than what the government was offering – and this is the last. “In the past, check payments were stopped because the payment was more than what it really should have been. These numbers were mistakenly mentioned on the check in the past and this is the reason for withholding payment. Now we are re-issuing the check with the correct payment, ”said a revenue official on condition of anonymity.
