Transport and Logistics chief CMA CGM Group said it is supporting production of 12,000 tonnes of biometric (equivalent to the one-year fuel consumption of two 1,400-TEU vessels).
The transport and logistics chief said it was another milestone in efforts to become carbon-neutral by 2050.
“We have crossed a new step with the launch of the first low-carbon shipping offering based on biometric,” said Rodolphe Sade, President and CEO.
