Chris Gayle thanks PM Narendra Modi for sending COVID-19 vaccine to Jamaica

West Indies batsman Chris Gayle thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for helping Jamaica by providing COVID-19 vaccines as part of the Vaccine Friendship Initiative. As part of the Vaccine Friendship Initiative, the Made-in-India vaccine arrived in Jamaica last week, with the aim of helping countries in their fight against the coronovirus epidemic. “Honorable Prime Minister Modi, the people of India and the Government of India, I would like to thank Jamaica for the donation of the vaccine. We appreciate it, thank you very much. India I will see you soon and thank you once again, “Gayle said in a video posted on Friday by India’s official Twitter handle in Jamaica.

Earlier this week, West Indies all-rounder Andre Russell expressed his gratitude to PM Modi for sending the Coronovirus vaccine to Jamaica.

Jamaica also thanked India for sending 50,000 doses of the Coronavirus vaccine. In a tweet, Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness said, “I am very happy to say that yesterday afternoon, we received our first consignment of 50,000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine donated by the Government of India. We are looking forward to the government Expresses our deepest condolences. And the people of India need much needed support for this. ”

Last week, former West Indies cricketers Vivian Richards, Richie Richardson, Jimmy Adams and Ramnaresh Saravan thanked PM Modi for helping Caribbean countries by providing Kovid-19 vaccines as part of the Vaccine Etri initiative.

In March, Antigua and Barbuda received 1,75,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines, of which 40,000 were donated to the country under the “Vaccine Friendship” initiative.
