USC big man Chavez Goodwin hit Colorado’s guard McKinley in the head during the semifinals of the teams’ Pac-12 tournament on Friday night. Officials called Goodwin for a technical dishonesty but allowed him to remain in the game.

Goodwin swung his elbow while holding the ball after a whistle, and made a tight contact with Wright, sending the Buffalo top scorer to the floor.

Wright was taken to the locker room for evaluation. He has faced conflict in the past.

Goodwin flopped to the other end of the floor after minimal contact minutes, making himself even more of a villain for CU fans. She was issued a flop warning following a replay review.

The Trojans and Buffalo are playing for a berth in Saturday’s conference tournament final against Oregon State, which upset top-seeded Oregon in Friday’s first semi.
