Chasing Pinjrati politics: BJP MP

The case registered by the Crime Branch against Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and Speaker P.K. The ongoing investigation of ED by Sriramakrishnan is an attempt to ‘sideline’ Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Meenakshi Lekhi.

Addressing a press conference here on Saturday in connection with the assembly elections, Ms Lekhi said that the Chief Minister and the Speaker are doing ‘politics of vengeance’. “One of the accused in the gold smuggling case, Swapna Suresh, who works in the Chief Minister’s office, confessed that he had done everything at the behest of the CM and the chairman,” Ms Lekhi said.

Ms. Lekhi said that the people of Kerala, including their leaders were disillusioned with the opportunistic politics, were meeting them.

“The Congress party in Kerala is in a state of division due to its non-performance. They have felt that their leaders are joining hands with the Left. So they will join the BJP, ”he said.

‘Game of deception’

He said that BJP will do very well in Kerala this time as people of the state have recognized the ‘game of deception’ and ‘fake battles’ played by LDF and UDF. “It is the LUDF that the BJP is fighting, not the LDF or the UDF. This is a side, because both are two sides of the same coin. If I had defined LUDF, I would have said that the lovers underground conception front, ”he said.

The BJP manifesto, to be released soon, will focus on fulfilling the promises on Char Vs – Vyavasayam (industry), Vidyabhyas (education), Vishuddhi Bharam (clean governance) and Vikasam (development).
