BJP candidate from Coimbatore South, Ms. Srinivasan said that the party has reached out to the minority community voters by distributing central minority schemes.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is confident of winning the minority vote in Coimbatore South Assembly constituency, party candidate Vanathi Srinivasan said here after filing his nomination papers on Monday.
He said that the party and she had reached out to the voters of the minority community distributing various schemes of the central government and the community began to understand that the BJP is an inclusive party and PM Narendra Modi is there to include all the people, he said .
Ms Srinivasan said that she did not see the anti-BJP stance on AIADMK’s position on the Citizenship Amendment Act mentioned in her manifesto. In fact, the AIADMK manifesto had many schemes for women and would pay rich political dividends. The AIADMK nurtured the Coimbatore South constituency, which was in the center of the city. He said that BJP’s agenda for the constituency was to make Coimbatore an international city with the help of the central and state government schemes.
Taking a pinch on Kamal Haasan, the president of Makkal Nidi Mayim, Ms. Srinivasan said that after the election results come out on May 2, Mr. Haasan will return to the movies.
In response to a question on the increase in his wealth since the 2016 assembly election, he said it was due to the division of family assets and his earnings. She said that she would urge the media not to just look at the bottom line but look through the details.
In response to a question on the omissions of coalition party leaders other than AIADMK in the BJP’s poster, Ms. Srinivasan said that if the allegations made by the media were completely correct. The BJP was meant to carry all coalition partners together.
