Birthday of Krunal Pandya: Hardik Pandya wishes brother with emotional post

India’s all-rounder Hardik Pandya took to social media to convey a heartfelt message to his elder brother for his birthday on Wednesday. A day before the age of 30, Krunal was a night to miss Pandya, as he made his ODI debut for India with a 66-run win against England. Krunal, who is also an all-rounder, played an unbeaten innings of 58, and also reached his half-century (made by the fastest bowler in ODIs) in 26 balls. Krunal was in tears after his tornado, and broke up during an interview during the innings break. With the help of Krunal, India set a target of 318 runs for England. The host team won the match by 66 runs. Taking to Twitter, Hardik wrote, “We have been on this journey with brother from the beginning. High, uphill, I am lucky to have you on my behalf. Happy birthday big brother @ krunalpandya24”.

Krunal also revealed that Dastak was dedicated to his father, who died in January. To overcome the emotions during the innings break, he received some consolation from his younger brother, who gave him a tight hug.

Krunal’s knock included seven fours and two sixes and also formed an unbeaten 112-run partnership with KL Rahul. Even Rahul played an unbeaten half-century innings of 62 runs.

Apart from his brilliant batting performance, Krunal also bowled 10 overs, took one wicket and conceded 59 runs.
