Battlegrounds Mobile India July patch notes: New weapons, vehicles and more - Times of India

Battlegrounds Mobile India has announced the July patch notes for the game via a video on its official YouTube channel.
The update brings several new features, weapons and changes and season updates to the game.
Here’s the complete list of changes Battlegrounds Mobile India will receive with the July update.
New weapon MG3 will be added to the game
The July update for BGMI will bring a new Light machine gun called MG3 to the game.
The MG3 replaces the M249 from the supply crate and will be exclusive to supply crates only.
The new LMG uses the 7.62mm ammo just like AKG and M249. The major highlight of the gun is its continuous firepower and 75 ammo magazine.
M249 LMG will be available as field drop
According to the patch notes video, the M249 LMG will be available as a field drop in all classic maps of the BGMI. The gun has been removed from the airdrop.
Ability to throw healing consumable
The July update for the game will also bring the ability to throw healing consumables.
The consumable can be thrown just like a grenade by making a trajectory for it.
The patch note also warns that the consumable can bounce away when thrown wrongly.
New Ranking Season
The July update will bring changes to the ranking system of the game. A new tier will be added between Ace and Conquer dubbed as Ace Master and Ace Dominator.
The Challenge Point System will be added to the Ranking Season. This will allow players to earn challenge points by completing the full matches without neglecting teammates, leaving the mid-way or attacking your own teammates.
The challenge points after a certain level will also help players prevent ranking points deduction even if they are eliminated early in the game.
Mission Ignition Mode
The Ignition mode will be available on the Erangel map. This mode transforms several parts of the map into high-tech locations with futuristic things like autonomous trucks, Air Convoys, anti-gravity motorcycles, hyper lines with boarding stations, ASM Abakan weapons and more.
The transformed locations include:
Pochinki – Transit Centre
Georgopol – Port of Georgopol
School – Tech Centre
Military Base – Security Centre
Yasnaya Polyana – Logistics Agency
Mylta Power – Energy Centre
Changes made to the game mechanics
The July update also brings several useful changes to the game mechanics such as 90Hz support for more devices, gyroscope settings, prevent auto-pickup of dropped scope, auto pickup for favourite attachments, adjustment to third-person view.
Bronze statue
Players will be able to add their Bronze statue after they win in the game.
NPC Mini TV Ray
Ray alerts the players about the announcements and messages in the lobby.
