A baby girl was born mid-air on an IndiGo flight from Bangalore to Jaipur on Wednesday.
The child was given with the help of a doctor who was traveling on a flight as a passenger.
“It was reported that arrangements would be made for the arrival of doctors and ambulances at Jaipur airport immediately. Both baby and mother are stable, ”the airline said in a press statement.
Dr. Subhana Nazir, who helped to give birth to the baby, was welcomed in the arrival hall and handed a Thank You card by Indigo’s Jaipur staff.
