Reliable tipster Jon Prosser has also hinted at something similar earlier, saying that the upcoming MacBook Air would come with an M2 chip, a new design and new colour options much like those with the iMac.
Apple launched two new iPad Pro models during the Spring Loaded 2021 event: The 11-inch iPad Pro and the 12.9-inch iPad Pro. Both the models come powered by Apple’s own M1 chip.
The M2 chip, the successor to the M1, is expected to come with an increased processing power of the CPU and GPUs and also add more than two Thunderbolt ports as the M1 chip supports a maximum of two. Right now, the buzz is around the 2021 iPhones, which are expected to be announced in September.
