Amazon is giving YOU even longer to return any unwanted Christmas presents

Amazon is offering anyone that purchased a Christmas present which didn’t go down as well as hoped a massive helping hand. Usually Amazon purchases can be returned within 30 days, but “most” items bought during the festive period can be returned right up until January 31 2021. This extended returns period will cover purchases between November 1 and December 31 2021.

In a post online outlining its festive return policy, Amazon explained: “Extended Returns information: For the 2021 holiday season, most of the items purchased between November 1 and December 31 can be returned until January 31, 2022.”

If you need any further guidance on whether the product you’ve purchased is eligible for the extended return period, then head to the product listing on Amazon UK.

On the right hand side of the screen under the button to add a prodict to your basket you should see a ‘return policy’ section.

If the Amazon listing says the item is “returnable until Jan 31 2022” then you’ll know you will be able to send the item back to Amazon by the end of next month.

In other Amazon news, this week saw the launch of the Amazon Boxing Day Sale – which will be running up until December 31.

The Amazon Boxing Day Sale includes discounts on a wide variety of products, such as a Fire Tablet, 4K TVs, Switch PS4 and Xbox video games as well as a Fire TV Stick.

The Fire TV Stick Lite has had its priced slashed in half-price, reducing it from £29.99 to £14.99. This entry-level streaming stick is a great way to upgrade your TV set-up so you can get access to a wide range of unmissable apps such as Prime Video, Disney+, Netflix, NOW, YouTube, BBC iPlayer and more.
