India were knocked out of the ongoing England Open on Thursday by the doubles pair of Satvisairaj Rankireddy and Ashwini Ponnappa. The pair were beaten by Yuki Kaneko and Misaki Matsutomo of Japan 21–19, 21–9 in the second round. The match proved unilateral as the Japanese pair won the Indian pair in just 35 minutes.
