Alkem Laboratories Ltd. Has introduced inexpensive medicine Brivasure for the treatment of epilepsy in India.
The drug is offered at a price of 79.50 per strip for 25 mg, 50 148.50 for 50 mg, and 230 for 75 mg, and 295 for 100-mg strip. Biravas has been approved by the Drugs Controller General of India in seizure management with or without partial normalization.
Brivasure has initiated rapid action, efficacy with a favorable safety profile, the company said.
