Former India batsman Subramanian Badrinath on Sunday announced that he has tested positive for Kovid-19. “I am taking all necessary precautions and being tested regularly, however, I have tested positive for Kovid-19 and have some mild symptoms. Badrinath represented India in two Tests, seven One Day Internationals and one T20 International.
On Saturday, Sachin Tendulkar and Yusuf Pathan were informed that they have tested for Kovid-19.
Tendulkar, Yusuf Pathan, and S. Badrinath shared the dressing room for India’s veterans in the recently concluded Road Safety World Series. The tournament was played in Raipur and it went ahead with the fans.
Joseph reported on Twitter on Saturday that he had tested positive for coronovirus and isolated himself at home and was “taking all necessary precautions”.
Yusuf tweeted, “I have tested positive for COVID-19 today with mild symptoms. After confirmation, I have left myself at home and am taking all necessary precautions and necessary medicines.”
“I will request those who come in contact with me to get their inquiry done at the earliest,” he said.
Earlier, Tendulkar had revealed that he tested positive for COVID-19.

Taking to social media, Sachin Tendulkar stated that all other members of his household have returned negative COVID results.
“I am testing myself and taking all recommended precautions to ensure Kovid. However, I have tested positive today after mild symptoms,” Tendulkar said in a statement on Twitter.
