India’s talisman football captain Sunil Chhetri said on Sunday that he had recovered from COVID-19 a few days after testing positive for the virus, which remains out of international friendship against the OMA and UAE. The development came on the eve of India’s second international friendly against the United Arab Emirates in Dubai, from where it had already been ruled out. India held Oman to a 1–1 draw in the first match on Thursday.
“One became all-clear from the tests and couldn’t be happier to be back on the pitch (I missed it bad!) Grateful for all the kind of messages that wished me to recover faster. Important Thing, I. Everyone wants him to be safe at all times and put a mask on, “Chhetri tweeted.

“There is no better time to remind everyone to take all the safety precautions,” he said.
On Saturday, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) selected Chhetri among 13 strikers for three positions in the AFC Cup XI three times by fans.
