The grant by the SAARC fund crosses $ 50 million

Grants from the SAARC Development Fund for projects in eight SAARC member states crossed $ 50 million this week.

“In this current fiscal year, only close to $ 1 million has already been disbursed to social window projects in all SAARC member states,” the fund secretary said on Friday. He added, “With the COVID-19 projects under the final document, the SDF Secretariat will also accelerate disbursement in the coming months. Its total grant disbursement figures will be further enhanced.”
