India played in the first match of the two international friendly against Oman in Dubai on Thursday, the second match was played against UAE on 29 March. Chhetri is not participating in Allied countries for medical reasons as he tested positive for the coronary virus.
Manveer Singh and Amarinder Singh played a key role for the Blue Tigers in their return to international football after a 492-day hiatus as India held Oman to a 1–1 draw at the Maktoum Bin Rashid Stadium in Dubai, UAE.
Goalkeeper Amarinder Singh saved a penalty-kick in the first half but Oman scored the lead in the 43rd minute. However, the Blue Tigers went toe-to-toe with their opponents and caught Leveler through Manveer Singh, who secured a home cross from Bipin.
India’s head coach Igor Stumak assigned international debut to 10 players – Akash Mishra, Ashutosh Mehta, Chinglensana Singh, Suresh Singh Wangjam, Bipin Singh and Jackson Singh were the players to start the match, while Lallengmiah Ralte, Yasir Mohammed, Ishan Pandita , And Mashoor Sheriff got their respective debuts from the bench.

Despite being held to a draw, Stimac was pleased with his team’s performance.
