‘Tis the season of future endeavors.
While WWE has the reputation of signing some of the world’s best wrestling talents, it has also gained notoriety for misuse and, eventually, released talent. The coronovirus epidemic ballooned Komonoz’s release list in 2020, but more is expected this year, as many big-name wrestlers have already been released from WWE contracts.

With WrestleMania 37 just a few weeks away, the company is passing its annual “Spring Cleaning”, during which it releases stars. There have already been a few releases so far in 2021, with the surprise name being on the list.

WWE released 2021
Andrade
Release: March 21
Andred (formerly known as Andred “Cyan” Almas in WWE) reportedly requested his release in March, and it was granted on 21 March. Luchadar was a one-time NXT champion and had little success on the main roster, however, winning a one-time United States Championship.
Known in NJPW and CMLL as “La Somra” prior to his NXT arrival, Andrade would likely be a success at another wrestling company.
Lars Sullivan
Report released: Feb 2021
Sullivan was being booked as a potential all-world heel before being hurt in 2019, and after several controversies: Sullivan had myogoginistic and racist comments surfaced on stage, as well as an adult before his wrestling career. His presence in the film continues to appear.
Talking with fightful Earlier in the year, Sullivan revealed that he fights issues of concern, and the company handled his release with grace.
He was quietly released in February due to not receiving “Future Endeavor” treatment on WWE.com.
Steve cutler
Ongoing: Feb 4
After dissolving the stable in the wake of Jackson Rocker’s controversial tweets about former President Donald Trump and the Black Lives Matter movement, Cutler, a third of Forgotten Sons, was left out.
Some reports indicate that Vince McMahon was “fiery” with Cutler (Real name Steve Macklin) appears at a New Year’s Eve party, while the company continues to navigate the COVID-19 epidemic.
Unfortunately, I was released today. It was shocking, to say the least. But, I am excited about the future and all the possibilities before me.
