Indian Farmers Union leader Rakesh Tikait has said that the agitation of farmers will not end until the anti-farmer laws are withdrawn.
Speaking to the press conference in Shivamogga on Sunday, Mr. Tikait said, “The center is under the impression that we will end the agitation by June this year. However, the protest will not end until the law is withdrawn and legislation ensuring minimum support price is passed. “
Corporate companies are preparing to take advantage of the laws passed by the Center. They had already built large godowns for storing food grains. “It is time to awaken the harsh realities. They are snatching our food, ”he said.
BKU general secretary Yudhveer Singh said that only farmers are not involved in the movement against controversial laws. People from different regions were involved in the protests. Small entrepreneurs should also be involved in this. “The center is ready to privatize many public sector units. The youth will have to oppose these measures. Otherwise, they will lose jobs in the coming years, ”he said.
Raitha Sangha leaders Kodihalli Chandrasekhar, KT Gangadhar, Chukki Nanjundaswamy and others were present.
