Plantation program held at Zoo Park

The plantation program was organized by the officials of Indira Gandhi Zoological Park (IGZP) on the occasion of International Forest Day at the zoo here on Sunday.

About 40 students from different age groups of Oakridge International School participated in the event. Zoo curator Nandani Salaria planted a plant in the elephant enclosure. He talked about global warming, climate change and the need to save trees. He also spoke on the importance of making the younger generation aware on the conservation of forests and wildlife.
