Puducherry
There are cases of spic in schools in Puducherry till 31 May.
All schools in the Union Territory of Puducherry (State Board, CBSE and ICSE) will remain closed from Class I to VIII from Monday (March 22) to May 31 in view of the sudden increase in the number of COVID-19 cases.
The decision was taken on the basis of the recommendation of the High Level COVID Vaccine Committee headed by Lieutenant Governor Tamilisai Soundarajan.
Director of School Education Department PT Rudra Gaur said that for classes 9 to 11, online lessons will be held five days a week from Monday to Friday.
Meanwhile, UT reported 60 new cases and 24 recoveries on Saturday.
