The 426th Vardhanti Festival of Sri Raghavendra Swamy was celebrated in a grand manner on Saturday at Mantralayam in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh.
The officials of Tirupati Tirumala Devasthanam (TTD), who came from Tirupati, handed over Sheshavastram to Sri Matudhendra Tirtha Swamy, the Peethaadhipati of the monastery.
He offered Keshavastram on his head in a grand procession and performed special puja at Moolabrindavan. Later, Panchamrit Abhishekam and Rathostavam were organized.
TTD officials hand over Keshavsthan every year during Vardhan Utsav. Many hundreds of devotees participated.
