Information gathering on Rohingyas in Haryana: Anil Vij

Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij said on Friday that information was being collected with the Rohingyas allegedly about the beginning of settling in Haryana, adding that India was not a “Dharamshala” (inn) where no one came to the country. I could settle down.

“Information is being collected about them. Further action will be taken. India is not in the inn to ensure that anyone can come and settle here, ”Mr. Vij was quoted as saying by ANI news agency. He was talking to the news agency about the Rohingyas re-settling in the state.

This comment has been made in the wake of the Jammu and Kashmir administration initiating the verification process for the Rohingyas. The Supreme Court on Thursday agreed to an urgent hearing on a plea to release and protect 150 Rohingya refugees allegedly “in custody” in Jammu.

Station House Officer, Noonh City, Inspector Hadi Khan said that around 300 Rohingya people had been living under the jurisdiction of the police station since 2012, but there was no notice of new arrivals.
