Salem had received 412 nominations to contest the election.
According to officials, the highest number of nominations were filed on Friday with 165 applications. Salem has the highest enrollment of 73 out of 11 constituencies.
Namakkal has received 214 nominations for six constituencies.
Kumarapalam has the highest enrollment of 45. The nomination will be scrutinized on Saturday and the last date for withdrawal of candidature is 22 March.
