IND vs ENG: Suryakumar Yadav, Shardul Thakur interview each other after 4 T20I heroines. The clock

India managed to stay alive in the Twenty20 International (T20I) series on Thursday after defeating England by eight runs in the fourth match of the five-match competition. Suryakumar Yadav and Shardul Thakur proved to be game-changers, as India won the series 2–2 with the T20I set to be played on Saturday. Suryakumar played his second T20I for India, winning India by scoring 57 runs in a brilliant 31 balls. While Shardul Thakur went for a few runs, he struck the wickets of Ben Stokes and Eoin Morgan three times as India restricted England to 177 for eight.

Suryakumar’s innings proved to be important for India. His innings gave India momentum after Rohit Sharma was dismissed in the fourth over. After struggling to keep Rahul going and taking skipper Virat Kohli just one after the other, Suryakumar kept himself calm and laid the foundation for a fast run at the same time.

On his T20I debut, in the second match of the series, Suryakumar did not get a chance to bat and was then ruled out of the playing XI for the third T20I.

But in the fourth T20I, the right-handed batsman, who came in to bat at number 3 in place of Kohli, snatched the opportunity with both hands.

On the night, two heroes of India sided with each other to interview each other.

He said, “It was my dream to play for India and win the match for the national team. During the batting I did not complicate things and just expressed myself. I had some butterflies in my stomach but I knew that I would play the first ball. Am. Well, things will get easier, “he told Shardul.

What he faced on the very first ball, also against Jofra Archer, Suryakumar scored the maximum points by drawing / hooking him. The Indian batsman said that Archer was already playing in the IPL, he was fully aware of what to expect from him.

“I have seen him in IPL and international cricket. Whenever there is a new batsman, he tries to put him on the backfoot. I have played against him in the IPL, so I had an idea of how he would bowl in the powerplay. ” He said, “I was already ready. I was playing this shot from my early days.”

Suryakumar quipped Shardul

Shardul Thakur conceded 42 runs in his four overs but took crucial wickets to chase England. The partnership of Ben Stokes and Johnny Bairstow drove England to touch distance but was later dismissed by Rahul Chahar.

At that time Stokes was going with great guns and was threatening to strike a balance in England’s favor. But Shardul kept India under control by dismissing him and England captain Eoin Morgan for consecutive balls.

Shardul was quoted as saying by Suryakumar, “I took two wickets at that time and then felt that we could seal the game. I was very happy after taking wickets. It was great to take two wickets off two balls.”

Promoted

England needed 23 off the final six balls, with stand-in captain Rohit Sharma bowling the ball to Shardul. A pair of four, six and two made the cat stand between the pigeons, but the Indian fast bowler caught his nerves as India won by eight runs.

He said, “In the final over, the captain told me that the leg side is long and it needs to be thought about how to bowl that batsmen hit a long part of the field. Rohit Sharma was the stand-in captain, and he gave me back Asked to do. The Indian fast bowler said, “So the plan was to throw 2-3 dot balls.”
