TN Assembly Election | Kamal Haasan said that MNM’s manifesto does not contain plaster for immediate problems

The party president said in Coimbatore that the “organic” vision document with a time span of 10 years is aimed at getting the state out of debt and providing employment to women and youth.

Party president Kamal Haasan released the document in Coimbatore on Friday, saying that Makkal Nidi Mayim’s manifesto for the 2021 assembly election is a vision document with a 10-year deadline and not just plaster to cover the current problems.

“It is not a plaster to cover current problems like state debt.” The manifesto is not like the others – free offer. It is a biological, living document, ”he said.

The Declaration is the MNM’s vision document for the state, which not only increases revenue, but also promotes development. Washing machines or other items that political parties promised as free would only increase the burden of the state – or, in other words, an increase in per capita debt. Mr. Haasan said that this means that political parties are cheating people.

On the other hand, MNM will provide skills to youth, women and unemployed to help them improve their income or get jobs.

Explaining the main features of the manifesto, the party’s Vice President V. Ponraj said, if the party is voted, a separate entrance examination for medical colleges on the lines of NEET, ‘SEET’ will begin. This was to protect the rights of the state and if this was not possible the party would fight a legal battle with the Center.

Mr. Haasan also spoke of starting profitable state-run enterprises by making employees share-holders.

IT raid

MNM President Kamal Haasan said that the Income Tax raid was carried out on the bases of the party treasurer Chandrashekharan on a person. It had nothing to do with MNM and should not be tested by the media.

Action would be taken against Chandrasekaran if he was guilty and by then, he was innocent, Mr. Haasan said.
