An FIR has been lodged by the Haryana Police at different police stations in Bahadurgarh against two persons for digging borewells against unknown people and raising the permanent structure at the Kisan agitation site near the Tikri border.
In an FIR lodged at Sadar Bahadurgarh Police Station, the complainant, Siddharth Singh, Haryana Shahari Vikas Prasar, Estate Officer, said that unknown persons were constructing permanent structures on the agency’s road dividing Sector 10 and 12.
The FIR, lodged under the Public Property Act and IPC for the Prevention of Damage, further stated that illegal borewells were also dug along the road, causing damage to public property.
The second FIR was lodged at Bahadurgarh police station in the city under section 188 (disobedience to a duly ordered by public servant) of the Indian Penal Code and section 8B (punishment for mischief for injuring the national highway) of the National Highway Act Went. Complainant Manish Kumar, Human Resources Manager at Rohad Toll Plaza on National Highway-9, said that illegal borewells were being dug near the Najafgarh flyover slip road and demanded removal of encroachments.
State vice-president of All India Kisan Sabha Indrajit Singh said: “The Haryana government asks the central government for early resolution of the agitation through dialogue rather than focusing on these v-trivial issues. The so-called permanent structures are not solid structures. Mr. Singh said that it will not take long for the agitation to end.
