After asking employees and officials not to wear T-shirts and jeans in the office, the Maharashtra government on Tuesday amended the order to remove the jeans from the injunction.

Government employees should not wear T-shirts while on official duty.

In an order on 8 December, the government banned the wearing of jeans and T-shirts, which coincided with protests from employees.
