Security forces have renewed contact to hide the militants in Shopian in South Kashmir, as a Jaish-e-Muhammad (JM) was left in the operation in which the militants were killed.

The militants were cordoned off in Rawalpora area of Shopian on Saturday evening. Police said a local JM militant was killed on Sunday morning.
Officials said that after a delay of about 24 hours, security forces again opened fire on the terrorists hiding on Monday morning.
A joint team of 34 RR and CRPF of Police, Army is carrying out the operation.
According to police, at least three houses were damaged during the operation. On Sunday, a youth was injured in clashes near the site of the encounter.
Internet services remained suspended in Shopian for the third consecutive day on Monday.
