As Ishaan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav made their international debut for India in the second T20I against England in Ahmedabad, Michael Vaughan jokingly tweeted that India had suggested him to play in Mumbai Indians’ Players XI . Vaughan had earlier tweeted during the T20I that the IPL team is better than India in the T20. “I see @BCCI taking advice and more @mipaltan players are included … very smart move …” Vaughn tweeted before the second T20I began on Sunday.

Vaughan’s friendly advice attracted the reaction of former India opener Wasim Jaffer.
Jafar tweeted and commented, quoting Vaughn’s post: “Not enough teams to play four foreign players Michael all teams.”

Jaffer referred to the IPL rule that allows only four foreign players in eleven.
Vaughan is active on social media commenting on the ongoing tour of England.
Following the third Test between the teams that ended within two days, Vaughan criticized the pitch used for the game and called India’s 10-wicket victory “a shallow victory”.

Both teams struggled to score goals on that pitch as neither team managed to cross 150 in three innings. England were bowled out for 112 and 81 as India piled on 49 for 145 runs.
The International Cricket Council on Sunday considered the pitch to be “average”.
