YSRCP wins Vijayanagaram civic body elections

As far as Bobbili is concerned, YSRCP won 19 wards out of 31, giving it a comfortable majority to get the post of Chairperson. TDP won 11 wards and won a seat in a historic city.

In fact, there was also no opposition to the YSRCP in Parvatipuram city. The party can win 22 of the 30 wards. The Telugu Desam Party was limited to only five wards and three independents occupied three seats in Parvatipuram.

In Saluru, the YSR Congress Party won 20 wards out of 29. The TDP won five seats and the Congress party won one seat. Independents won the remaining three seats. The presidency of the Nellimarla Nagar Panchayat was confirmed by the ruling YSR Congress, which won 11 out of 20 seats. TDP got seven and two independents got the remaining seats.
